Sports physiotherapy guides you back, after an injury or surgery, to the load your sport asks of you. We combine clinical assessment, targeted exercise therapy and, where it is relevant, objective testing. The next step is then based not only on time or feeling, but on what your body can take again.
Who it's for
- Recreational and competitive athletes with an acute, chronic or overload injury
- Athletes rehabilitating after surgery
- Athletes, including elite athletes, who want to return safely to training and competition
- Athletes with recurring complaints or uncertainty in sport-specific movements
How we work
- Intake and a clinical assessment of the whole body
- A build-up of mobility, strength, control, speed and endurance
- Objective test and retest moments when they support the programme
- Sport-specific progressions that connect to training and competition
- Alignment with a doctor, coach or other clinicians involved, when that is needed
What to expect
A phased programme with clear criteria for each next step. The aim is not only that the complaint eases, but that you trust again the movements and the load your sport asks. See also the physio fitness membership if you want to come and practise on your own.
Practical
Duration
Each session lasts about 30 minutes, including administration and changing. Extra time to practise on your own is possible when it fits your programme.
