Pregnancy and birth are exceptional moments, and an impressive physical achievement. They can ask a lot of your body. With pre- and postnatal physiotherapy we coach you through complaints, a sound preparation for birth, and your recovery afterwards. The approach is personal and takes account of your pregnancy, the birth, daily life and any sporting goals.
Who it's for
- Pelvic, back, groin or posture complaints during pregnancy
- A sound preparation for birth
- Recovery of the abdominal muscles, core and pelvic floor after birth
- Urine leakage, pelvic pain or a heavy feeling
- A safe return to running, strength training or another sport
How we work
- A personal intake and assessment inside your medical context
- Targeted exercises for breathing, posture, core and pelvic floor
- Advice on adapting daily and sporting load
- We prepare you with exercises for breathing, pelvic floor and posture, and strengthen your body with a view to the birth and a smooth, responsible recovery
- A gradual build-up after the birth, aligned with your doctor or gynaecologist where needed
What to expect
Calm, clear coaching without a fixed standard timetable. When you start, and how quickly you build up, depends on your recovery, your complaints and your medical follow-up.
Practical
Duration
An intake lasts an hour, so we have time to talk everything through and map your situation carefully. Each session after that lasts about 30 minutes, including administration and changing. Extra time to practise on your own is possible when it fits your programme.
